Named Dallas AIM Walk Honoree
The AIM at Melanoma Foundation selects an honoree(s) for each AIM Walk. The honoree has the privilege of addressing the audience and participants before the walk begins to tell them their story, what they have done, and their involvement with AIM. I am so humbled to be chosen as the 2019 Dallas AIM Walk Honoree. I have the utmost respect for the AIM at Melanoma Foundation and their initiatives. It is because of foundations like them that we will see skin cancer cases decrease through education and better treatments for patients through their innovative research. AIM isn't just a national organization, but they are internationally involved and a leader in cutting edge research. In fact, AIM stepped up to address the problem of not having a tissue bank specifically for melanoma research. Much of the funds raised through AIM Walks will go to supporting the cost of building and starting theses tissue banks. If you would like to get involved with the Dallas AIM Walk, click on my photo.
